Leah is an Associate Licensed Counselor, under the supervision of Shea Miller LPC-S. She has earned both of their degrees from the University of Montevallo, completing a Bachelor of Arts in Music and a Master of Education in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health track. Their professional background includes experience in community mental health counseling, which shaped a deep commitment to accessibility, compassion, and meeting clients where they are.
Leah is passionate about supporting and working with LGBTQIA+ clients, teens, adults, and those living with chronic illness. They strive to provide a warm, judgment-free, and affirming space where clients can explore their experiences, heal, and grow into their most authentic selves. They are sex-positive and openly welcome individuals from the kink community as well as consensually non-monogamous clients. Leah’s therapeutic approach is grounded in person-centered and humanistic principles, blended with the empowerment of a feminist lens. Above all, they believe therapy should be collaborative, holistic, and tailored to each individual, honoring clients as the experts of their own lives and the many ways our mental health impacts our lives. Their goal is to foster an environment rooted in authenticity, safety, and genuine connection.
Outside of the therapy room, Leah can be found practicing yoga, baking, playing video games, knitting, and spending time with their partner, friends, and pets.
