Emily Trentacoste-Martin, CRNP (formerly Trentacoste), is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providing psychiatric evaluations and medication management for children, adolescents, and adults.
Emily has worked in mental health care since 2015, beginning her career as a registered nurse in inpatient and emergency mental health settings. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and began practicing as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in 2020.
Emily has experience working with individuals across the lifespan and treating a variety of mental health concerns, including:
• Depression and other mood disorders
• Bipolar disorder
• Anxiety and panic disorders
• Trauma-related concerns
• Schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorder
• ADHD
• Autism
• Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
• Women’s Mental Health, including mental health concerns related to pregnancy, postpartum, and menopause
Emily believes in a collaborative approach to mental health care and works with patients to develop individualized treatment plans based on their unique needs and goals. When appropriate, she can work alongside a patient’s therapist and other healthcare providers to help create a coordinated approach to treatment.
At Integrative Health Services, Emily will provide psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management for patients who may benefit from medication as part of their mental health treatment.
Availability
Emily has an anticipated start date of September 9, 2026, and is expected to see patients at the following times:
Pelham: Mondays | 9:00 AM-2:20 PM
Gardendale: Wednesdays | 9:00 AM-2:20 PM
Telehealth: Fridays | 9:00 AM-1:00 PM
Outside of work, Emily enjoys spending time with her husband and three boys, exploring new coffee shops, traveling, and finding her next great book.
