Jennifer Garrison is from Atlanta, Georgia, and followed her passion for counseling resulting in creating a life in Alabama. She graduated from Faulkner University in 2013 with a MA in Community Counseling. She has been in the counseling field for approximately 9 years, with primary services provided in trauma and the individualized effects and impact of trauma. She has 6 years of work experience working for the Children Advocacy Center.
She has worked with families experiencing crises and children that have been through traumatic experiences. She heavily relied upon TF-CBT, while providing those services. She also has experience working in school and with teens in foster care.
Jennifer specializes in teen counseling, family counseling, adolescent counseling, and individual. She specializes in trauma, depression, anxiety, change of life, sexual and physical abuse, self-esteem issues, and ADHD. Jennifer enjoys the opportunity to work with each individual and provides a safe environment to share and heal. She provides a positive client-focused approach.
