    Karmel’s counseling experience includes two years of working in the outpatient setting addressing addiction, trauma, anxiety, depression, and dual diagnoses. Karmel has also worked in the foster care system for over two years to help reunite families as well as worked in the educational system for over eight helping to guide adolescents and young adults with their career and college choices. She is a graduate of the University of Alabama’sRehabilitation Counseling program (2017) and is currently under the supervision of Susan Hart, LPC-S while she works on her certification as an LPC.

    She uses a variety of counseling techniques including Lifespan Integration. Lifespan Integration (LI) is a gentle technique that promotes rapid healing without re-traumatizing individuals who have experienced abuse and/or neglect. LI has been effective in people of all ages with a wide range of therapeutic issues.If you’re looking for someone to truly listen with genuine warmth, acceptance, and encouragement, look no further.
