    Shamichael Kittler is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 6 years of experience working with adults who have Mental Health and Substance Abuse Diagnoses. She graduated from Spring Hill College in 2014 with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and obtained a Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University in 2018. She has worked in various treatment settings, to include Intensive Outpatient Treatment, Residential Substance Abuse Treatment, and Medication Assisted Treatment. Shamichael’s professional background includes working with adults who experience anxiety, stress, substance abuse issues, codependency, and relationship issues.

    Shamichael’s goal is to provide a safe space for clients to process through their struggles, along with collaborating with them using empathetic listening and unconditional positive regard. She uses various treatment techniques, to include person centered, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT). Shamichael believes that every client has what it takes within them to heal and she aims to use her personal and professional skills to facilitate hope and healing during the therapy process. She also believes life is indeed a journey and she strives to walk alongside clients as they navigate their pathway to peace.
