    Tabitha Boatwright, LMSW, is a clinician at Integrative Health Services. She earned her undergraduate degree in Social Work from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and her Master of Social Work with a clinical concentration from Samford University. Tabitha is licensed by the Alabama Social Work Board and is currently under clinical supervision with Caron Sandefur, LICSW, PIP, as she works toward independent licensure in Alabama.

    With over ten years of education and experience, Tabitha has worked with diverse populations, including individuals with substance use disorders, mental health conditions, veterans, and adolescents. In the past year, her focus has been on supporting those living with mental health disorders, substance use challenges, and grief.

 Because every client’s needs are unique, Tabitha adapts her therapeutic approach to best serve each individual. Her preferred models include behavioral activation, analytical therapy, existential therapy, and post-modern approaches such as narrative and solution-focused therapies.

    Guided by her core social work values of integrity, dignity, and worth of every person, Tabitha creates a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship. She strives to ensure clients feel heard, understood, and supported as they address their needs and challenges. Her goal is to help each person find peace, self-empowerment, and the tools for a healthy, holistic life.
