Krista is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the states of Alabama and Tennessee, a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and has been working in the mental health field since 2011.

To Krista, the client is always at the center of the therapeutic process. Krista has experience working in various settings with diverse populations who have experienced all types of traumatic and/or stressful events.

It is easy to feel controlled by unprocessed events or trauma. However, healing is possible and allows us to move forward without letting past experiences negatively impact our lives. Together, we can work on removing these barriers that prevent you from becoming your best self. There are many different theoretical orientations and therapeutic tools that can assist in the process. Krista utilizes these various therapeutic approaches and finds what helps you the most.

Krista earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Social Work from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) and a Master of Education in Community Counseling from the University of Montevallo in Montevallo, Alabama. She is a Board Certified-TeleMental Health Provider by the Center for Credentialing and Education.
